La Casa de Maria: Authentic Mexican Flavors & Vibrant Atmosphere in North Bay

Great place… A really cool space with excellent customer service. The food was tasty, and the tacos are flavorful. I’m happy to see things like this happening in North Bay. I would love to see more traditional and authentic options on the menu as the deco, such as chicken with mole poblano and real lemonades. Aside from that, I commend you for creating culture and entertainment in this city. I’ll definitely be back!

La Casa de Maria is such a hidden gem in North Bay! The food was tasty and came out in a timely manner, and the service was very warm and welcoming. The décor is beautiful ..from the booths to the Latin-inspired details, the whole atmosphere feels vibrant but still comfortable. The music playlist was also a nice surprise, it really added to the vibe, upbeat but not too loud, so you can still enjoy your conversation while soaking in the ambiance. It’s spacious, stylish, and the kind of place that works for a ladies’ night, a date night, or even a casual meal out with friends or coworkers. Parking is available at the back of the building (with access from the side), plus there’s street parking nearby, which makes it easy to get to. Definitely one of the most gorgeous spots in the city, and I’ll be back often!

I went on the Tacos & Tequila Thursday night menu which I highly recommend. Prices were great and food was delicious. Atmosphere is so cute and cozy, overall such a hidden gem and I wish more people knew about it!

A friend of ours put us onto this spot lastnight. I'm not one to try new foods or restaurant but this place looked too good to pass up. And I couldn't be more happier that I went. The food was delicious and so filling, the drinks we ordered were refreshing and made absolutely perfectly. The employees, service were kind and quick. The atmosphere was clean, authentic and inviting. The mariachi music is what really made it top tier. I also really loved the decor. They had some beautiful art on the walls. The price of everything is so good for what you're getting. Everything is most definitely worth every single penny! I would 100% come back and bring some friends. This is my new, favorite spot to go. I got Beef tacos with that yummy birria sauce and strawberry margarita. My hubby got the same with Blue Poncho and our friend got some sort of delicious pizza taco with a drink that has a tiny bottle of Corona overflowing it. Everything was freshly made to order and delicious to the last drop. Our drinks were perfectly mixed and super tasty.

Great vibe and it looks like there's quite some music & dancing here some days. Our kids loved the nachos, chicharron & cheese pupusa, and trying out tacos and tostadas. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed the sweet chimichangas too. We'll certainly be keeping this in mind as a stop on our road trips.

An Absolute Must-Try in North Bay! We had a phenomenal time at La Casa Di Maria tonight—it was truly a 5-star experience from start to finish. The service was great, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The food was incredible. We highly recommend the fish tacos and enchiladas, but the real star of the mains was the Lomo Saltado—perfectly seasoned and cooked. Our drinks (a couple of beers and a Caesar) were great, too. To end the meal, the desserts were fire! The tres leches cake was uniquely presented and absolutely delicious, and the flan was absolute —creamy, rich, and the perfect finish. If you're looking for authentic, delicious Latin American cuisine and a wonderful night out in North Bay, this is the place to go!

Taco Tuesday is a must. All authentic, fresh and flavourful. So many options to pick from, perfect guac and great drinks. A real gem in the city. Highly recommend.

Well...First and foremost, this place is being entirely slept on in North Bay. This might be North Bay's best kept secret. I ducked in today for their Taco Tuesday lunch special. I was literally the only person dining in and I absolutely cannot understand why. I am familiar with Mr. Pancho (another local mexican cuisine restaurant that I believe is owned/operated by the same family) and their offerings. I asked the waitress if I could just get an assortment of tacos and allowed them to choose which ones I got. I was assured their favourite tacos would be chosen. What arrived were 5 incredible tacos. Absolute broad range of flavour, each offering something unique for my palette. The variety of flavour meant each taco was identifiably its own. Pair that with the great homemade sauces and I was left with a perfect symbiotic pairing of seasoned meat, fresh veggies, and creamy sauce. The homemade tacos are soft, corn-sweet and perfect. The restaurant had cultural music playing at an appropriate level to create a wonderful ambience. I really was dismayed that the restaurant was so quiet. It truly is not getting the love it deserves! The price was well within reason, and competitive with other places in the area. This was a complete treat, and I will certainly be back. Do yourself a favour, and visit this place now. You will not regret it.
